2008-2009 Tryouts

Welcome to the New Jersey Stars!

Stars 2008/09 Bantam AA (players born in 1994-1995)

The Stars program intends to select three teams at the Bantam level (AA, A & B).

Season (Aug. 25 – Mar. 8) includes the following:
•	3 ¾ hours of practice per week
1 ¼ hour team practice (full ice) 1 ¼ hour team practice (1/2 ice) 1 ¼ hour skills practice (30 min powerskating, 45 min skills)
•	Pre-Season Evening Training Camp (Aug. 25th – Aug. 29th)
•	6 Month Player of Parent Membership to PSC Fitness Center (Sep. 1st – Mar. 1st)
•	20 Public Skating Passes
•	3 Tournaments (includes 1 home tournament)
•	Practice Jersey

Tuition: $4,250

Tryout Dates & Times:
Monday, April 21st	8:15-9:45pm
Wednesday, April 23rd	8:15-9:45pm
Thursday, April 24th	8:00-9:30pm

Tryout Registration Fee:
On or before April 16th - $125
After April 16th - $150

New for the 2008/09 Season!
A and B level players aged Mite through Bantam have the opportunity
to enroll in the Stars Accelerated Development Program

This program consists of an additional 1-hour skills practice each week of the season, run by a professional skills coach. The weekly session will focus on the development of skating, stickhandling, passing and shooting skills and is intended for motivated players eager to make the extra commitment to improve their game.

Registration and payment for the Accelerated Development program is due at the time of the player’s contract signing.

Mite/Squirt - $700/player
PeeWee/Bantam - $800/player
