2008 Learn to Skate Day Camps

For boys and girls ages 5 to 10. A great introduction to ice skating in a fun and supporting environment.

Professional instructors provide each child with personal attention to make sure he or she is having fun!

No ice skating experience necessary. Children learn to skate in small groups through games and engaging activities. Children will be divided into groups tailored to their skill level.

  • Two one hour ice sessions per day.
  • Campers work toward ISI skating badges (Tot, Pre-Alpha, Alpha)
  • Outdoor and Indoor sports and games (beach volleyball, relay games, arcade, four-square, broomball, water games, basketball, dodgeball, kickball)
  • Snack provided

Ice Skates are provided.

Camp Weeks Offered:

June 23-27          8:30 am - 4:30 pm
July 7-11              8:30 am - 4:30 pm
August 11-25      8:30 am - 4:30 pm
August 18-22
      8:30 am - 4:30 pm

Half Day Campers may select either AM (8:30 am - 12:00 noon) or PM (1:00 - 4:30 pm) session. No lunch is served for half day campers. One daily snack is provided.

Camp cost:
Learn to Skate camp Half Day - $195/week

Learn to Skate camp Full Day -
$350/week

Nutritious lunch available each day (sandwiches, fruit, pastas, pizza, juices, milk) - $40.00/week. Otherwise campers may bring their own lunch.

Early drop-off (7:30 am) and late pickup are available -
$50/week

Campers should bring a bicycle helmet and wear comfortable long pants, thin gloves, a sweatshirt or sweater and thin socks. Dressing in layers is best.
