Maximum exposure to D-I prep coaches!
Coaches will better understand your abilities, character and work ethic when they are on the ice with you.

At The National Prep Development Camp, you will:

• Understand the athlete-recruitment application process.
• Train with prep school coaches and understand what they expect during practices and games.
• Work with 8–10 prep school coaches during the week of camp.
• Understand the physical fitness requirements to play D-1 varsity hockey.
• Understand the ins and outs of the prep school/college hockey path.

Daily seminars by prep school coaches covering topics such as:
• When is your best time to consider prep school hockey.
• Choosing the right school for you.
• What you can do to improve your chances of achieving your goals.
• Off-season training.
• Finding the competitive edge-mental and physical toughness.
• What coaches look for in players.


Daily Fitness seminars by college level trainers:
• Seasonal training programs and how to best achieve your goals.
• How to maximize your weight/strength training program-fitness.
• How to maximize your weight/strength training program-nutrition.
• Essential Hockey-specific exercises.

Camp Dates:
July 27 - August 1

Camp begins Sunday evening, and ends Friday at 12 noon after morning championship games and award presentations.

Check in is 2-4pm on Sunday, July 27 at Princeton Sports Center.

Typical Daily Schedule:
8:00am Breakfast
9:00-10:00am Fitness training/seminar
10:30am-11:45am On-ice practice
12:00pm Lunch
1:00-3:00pm Down time at hotel
3:45-5:00pm Skills (Mon-Tue)
Games (Wed-Thu)
5:30pm Dinner
6:00pm

Coaches' seminar

7:00-8:00pm Game
8:15-8:45pm Late day recovery (fitness)
10:30pm Lights out


Camp includes daily on-ice practices with college coaches and SHOWCASE TOURNAMENT play Tuesday through Friday.

Individual MVP award presented after each game by coaches.


MEALS
We understand the caloric and dietary needs of hockey players in training and will supply full nutritious meals and snacks several times each day. Water and powerade are supplied at all on-ice/off-ice training sessions.

HOUSING (for boarding campers)
All campers will be housed at Staybridge Suites. Transportation between the hotel and the rink will be provided.




Airport pickup and elivery available for a fee. Please book flights into Newark International Airport.
